We Deliver Local is not responsible for the delivery drivers which use this service. The agreement is between the customer and the delivery driver and We Deliver Local is only responsible for providing the software to facilitate the service.
After you order, we notify nearby drivers and attempt to find a driver who can purchase items on your behalf and deliver them to you. By ordering, you agree that your personal details (including location and phone number) may be used for the purpose of sourcing nearby drivers. We cannot guarantee delivery and if we cannot find a driver within 40 minutes, we will cancel the order and attempt to notify you by email and text message.
Customers agree to check the items which they receive and understand the mistakes cannot be rectified later.
All purchases including alcohol and tobacco are made directly from the local shops and the contract and license to sell is with the shop. The driver is contractually acting as agent of the customer. You purchase upon the understanding that you are
purchasing directly from the shop and that We Deliver Local and the drivers are responsible solely for delivery. Deliveries will not be left unattended and proof of age must
be shown to the driver upon delivery. If you cannot provide proof of age, the products will be returned to the shop at your cost.
By providing the PIN number to a driver, you have confirmed receipt of the delivery. We aim to deliver within 90 minute (or the timescale notified to you) however, occasionally, drivers may take longer due to circumstances out of their control.
Our maximum liability is for the cost of the items paid for. You understand that there is a mark-up on product prices which is used to pay the driver, other costs and profit.
Delivery drivers are freelance and are responsible for their own punctuality, attendance, behaviour and presentation and agree to uphold high standards in these areas. Each party is responsible for paying their own taxes and insurance relating to earnings from using this web site.
If delivering alcohol or tobacco and the customer appears to be under the age of 25, you must check for ID containing proof of age. Only driving licences or passports will be accepted. If the customer cannot display valid ID, you should return them for a refund. You will not be penalised financially. Please contact us if you have any problems.
We Deliver Local does not provide legal advice and we encourage you to work with a legal and/or tax professionals to determine how to handle compliance.
You agree that we can use location services on your phone or tablet for the purpose of determining your location so we can send you nearby orders, track your progress, fraud prevention and testing.

You can cancel any time up until the day of delivery. As some items are weighed and cut to order, refunds may not always be possible unless the
